HOW DOES PRICING WORK? Pricing is determined by size of the treatment area... small spot, one area and two (or large) areas. Small Spot Treatment: Up to 3 small skin irregularities. Each small irregularity is less than the size of a dime. Examples: Cherry Angiomas Small Sun Spots Broken facial capillaries Treatment Area Options: - Face (pigmentation, acne, anti-aging, broken capillaries, rosacea) - Neck/Chest - Hands - Shoulders - Back - Stomach - Arms - Legs HOW MANY SESSIONS OF IPL TREATMENT ARE NEEDED? It may take several sessions to achieve your desired results depending on the type of skin concern and size of the area. We recommend 3-6 IPL treatments performed one month apart initially and then one to two treatments per year thereafter as maintenance. While you should start to see some great results after the first IPL session, the best outcomes occur after several treatments. Keep in mind that significant sun damage will take longer to treat. WHO IS NOT A GOOD CANDIDATE? - Very dark skin: IPL is not recommended for individuals with very melanin rich skin, as the high-energy light used in the treatment may be absorbed by the melanin in the skin, leading to increased risk of side effects such as hyperpigmentation. - Active skin infections or rashes - Recent Accutane use - Pregnancy - Antibiotics use - Retin-A/Retinoid use: Must be discontinued 2-4 weeks prior to treatment.
